Cancellations & Rescheduling
We understand that moving plans can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please give us at least 24 hours’ notice. Late cancellations may be subject to a fee to cover scheduling costs.
Client Responsibilities
As a customer, you are responsible for:
- Ensuring clear access to pickup and delivery locations
- Being present or having a representative on-site during the move
- Safely packing items (unless packing services are included)
- Notifying us of fragile, oversized, or specialty items ahead of time
Failure to disclose such information may lead to delays or additional charges.
Limitations of Liability
While we take every precaution to handle your items with care, accidents may occasionally happen. In the rare event of damage or loss, Top Stockton Movers is only liable up to the basic coverage limits as permitted under California moving laws, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
We are not liable for:
- Delays caused by weather, traffic, road closures, or events beyond our control
- Pre-existing damage to items or structural issues in the moving locations
- Items not packed or handled by our team
For high-value items, we recommend purchasing additional insurance coverage prior to your move.
Payments
Payment is due upon completion of the move unless a different arrangement has been made in advance. We accept various forms of payment including cash, credit/debit card, and select digital options.
Failure to make timely payments may result in late fees or legal action.
Right to Refuse Service
Top Stockton Movers reserves the right to refuse service if our team feels unsafe, if working conditions are hazardous, or if a customer behaves in a disrespectful or threatening manner.
Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, images, branding, and design, is the property of Top Stockton Movers and may not be used, copied, or reproduced without permission.
